Telecom operator Bharti Airtel today announced the launch of 5G services in 125 cities.

Airtel 5G Plus service is now available to customers in more than 265 cities of the country with the largest such telecom rollout, according to a company release.

The company said that by March 2024, the rollout of 5G will cover all cities and major rural areas.

Bharti Airtel CTO Randeep Sekhon noted that 5G has revolutionized the Internet world and ushered in a new era of game-changing connectivity and connectivity for the country.

“At Airtel, we continue to deliver the highest quality of network and service to our customers as we launch 125 more cities today,” added Randeep Sekhon.

Availability of Airtel 5G Plus service will continue to expand soon, including in all cities and villages of the country, as the company strives to offer coverage across the country. Airtel is now offering its 5G services in all major cities from the northern city of Jammu to the southern suburb of Kanyakumari, it said.

The list of 125 cities includes Nellore, Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh); Jorhat, Tezpur (Assam); Motihari, Gaya (Bihar), Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh); Dahej, Bharuch, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar (Gujarat), Jhansi, Ayodhya, Shahjahanpur, Raebareli (Uttar Pradesh); Manali, Solan (Himachal Pradesh), etc.
