Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport has been named the ‘Best Airport for over 40 million passengers’ in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, the airport received the title of “Cleanest Airport” in the Asia-Pacific region. This is the fifth time in a row that IGIA has received the Best Airport Award in the Asia-Pacific region. It should be noted that the airport has received the 2022 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) recognition award from the Airports Council International (ACI).
Earlier, Delhi Airport was recognized as the best airport in the Asia-Pacific region for four consecutive years in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 in more than 40 MPPA categories. Incheon, Republic of Korea, host the annual ASQ Forum and Global Customer Experience Conference on September 6, 2023, including the ASQ Awards Ceremony.

Apart from this, other airports in India also received awards in various categories. For example, Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport also received the Best Airport Award in the Asia-Pacific region, with the airport being named the best airport in the over 40 million passenger category.
Similarly, Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport bagged the best airport award in global arrivals. Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport was awarded the best airport in the Asia Pacific region in the 15 to 25 million passenger category. Tiruchirappalli International Airport has received the best airport for less than 2 million passengers in the Asia-Pacific category.
In addition, other international airports around the world have received awards for being the best airports in various categories. For example, Abu Dhabi International Airport received the best airport visitors worldwide.
