JetBlue announces that direct flights between New York and Paris will begin on June 29

JetBlue announced on “CBS Mornings” that nonstop flights between New York and Paris will begin June 29 and will be available for bookings starting Tuesday.

Roundtrip flights from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport start at $479 round-trip. Trips from Paris to New York start at 399 euros, the airline said, with daily flights.

JetBlue launches transatlantic service in August 2021 with flights between New York and London. By introducing service to Paris, JetBlue says it will “play a unique role in disrupting the high-fare legacy carriers that have dominated this route for decades.”

Passengers will have the option of booking ‘Mint Suites’ which offer coaches and sleeping accommodation.

“We are excited to continue to disrupt the transatlantic market and offer business and leisure customers to and from Paris the opportunity to experience our highly popular Mint and Core products in a market that has been plagued by the exorbitant rates of previous carriers,” he said. JetBlue CEO Robin Hayes said in a press release.
