Amitabh Bachchan will not be able to celebrate Holi this year due to a serious injury he sustained on the sets. Project K.
Taking it to his blog page, Big B expressed his grief by writing a lengthy post.
He wrote: “Anxieties around the house and not being allowed to do all kinds of physical activity . . . not being able to take part in daytime festivities.”
Reminiscing about the good old days, he added, “…and the gaiety of Holi, celebrated with such vigor and so much gallantry, is gone .. as it has been for years.. Open house.. festive welcome. all.. hundreds of people soaking in music, dancing and camaraderie.. starting in the morning and never ending until the next morning.. those times may never come again.. I hope they come.. but it seems unlikely.. at least for now.. .”
“I don’t like to be mentioned in my preface or in the definition of created glorious epithets.. sadi ke mahanayak, the greatest actor of the century.. no.. no such adjectives please .. just make a name. the genes have been swept away.. on me.. and something else has rubbed off on me – my great inadequacy as a human being.. so references to me are invalid and unappreciated, Bachchan concluded.”
