Born in Ludhiana, Punjab, Dami holds a BTech in Electronics and Communication. His parents were in government service. He dreamed of becoming a pilot since the 9th grade and made his first solo flight in 2003. He blew the HPT 32 bulb. This is a basic training aircraft. She was the first woman to do so.
