RAWALPINDI: Afghanistan will host a three-match T20 bilateral series against Pakistan starting on March 25 in Sharjah, News reported on Wednesday.
This is the first of its kind in a multi-match bilateral series between the two countries.
The second match of the series will be played on March 27, and the final match will be played on March 29. All matches will be played after Iftar.
The Pakistan Super League The eighth final of the (PSL) season will be held on March 19, after which the Pakistan team will travel to Sharjah on March 23 to play a three-match series.
According to the International Cricket Council (ICC), the two teams played the only ODI in Sharjah in 2012 and T20I in 2013 at the same venue. Won two matches Pakistan.

Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) chairman Mirwais Ashraf hoped to expand Afghanistan’s ties with Pakistan through the series.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi said, “I am delighted that Pakistan’s inaugural T20I series against Afghanistan will be played later this month in a city that has a huge community and always supports cricketers from both countries. .”
