Saumya Pandey secured All India 4th rank in civil service exam
People work hard to become an IAS officer but some people still don’t believe in themselves. In this case, success will be a sweet surprise. Something similar happened to Prayagraj-born IAS officer Saumya Pandey. A video of Saumya is going viral on social media where she says that when the final UPSC result came out, she started seeing her name at the bottom of the list. He did not see his name for a long time and became depressed. But when he checked the list from above, he was overjoyed. Not only did he crack the UPSC civil services exam, he cracked it. He stood 4th in All India in Civil Services Exam.
IAS Saumya Pandey belongs to 2016 batch. He cracked UPSC in his first attempt. Talking about Soumya’s academic performance, she scored 98% in class 10th and 97.8% in class 12th. Apart from this, he was a gold medalist in an engineering college.
IAS Soumya Pandey says she cleared the exam in 2016. The result came in 2017. He had downloaded the UPSC Civil Service Exam Result PDF file but did not have the courage to see the names. That’s why his mother said to start seeing the name from below. After not being named, he told his mother that he would prepare better next time and that he would definitely clean it up. But his mother asked him to check the names to see who won. My mother and I couldn’t believe it when my name appeared among the toppers. He checked the result against the roll number and realized that the result was indeed his.
IAS Saumya Pandey is currently serving in Uttar Pradesh. Saumya says that the preliminary preparation should be started from the simple. There is no better option than NCERT books for this.
Apart from studies, Soumya is also very interested in activities like sports and dance. He also studied classical dance and is also a basketball player. Apart from this, it is also a holder of NCC B and C certificate.
