Mercedes-Benz India has announced a price hike for its model in the Indian market. The company says the price hike for its Indian model line will be up to 5 percent and the new prices will be effective from April 1, 2023. The sharp rise in forex in the last 4 months, along with the increase in input costs, forced this price adjustment to support the company’s sustainable business operations. However, the brand will continue to offer smart financial solutions through Mercedes-Benz Financial Services to provide customers with optimal value for their ownership experience.
Also, the depreciation of the currency against the euro, together with the increase in input costs, including logistics costs, put significant pressure on the company’s overall operating costs. A combination of these factors has prompted Mercedes-Benz India to increase the showroom prices of its model range to offset some of these costs. Although the company incurs significant costs, some of it is passed on to customers to support a profitable business.
Mercedes-Benz Price Range:
The prices of Mercedes-Benz cars will be revised up to INR 2 lakh for the A-Class Limousine and GLA SUV, INR 7 lakh for the high-end S 350d limousine and INR 12 lakh for the Mercedes Maybach S 580 luxury limousine.
