The upcoming 4th season of HBO’s Bill Hader comedy series Barry it will be his last, the cabler reported.
The fourth season Barry In May 2022, the award-winning comedy series was confirmed to return for its third season after a three-year delay largely caused by the pandemic.
“It’s been an amazing journey creating this show, and it’s bittersweet that it comes to a natural end,” Hader said in a statement Tuesday.
“After three masterful seasons of Barry, we want viewers to see a powerful, complex and funny conclusion to Barry Berkman’s story. It’s been a pleasure working with this incredibly talented team, including Bill Hader, Alec Berg, Aida Rogers and an extraordinary cast and crew,” said Amy Gravitt, HBO/HBO Max Head of Comedy.
The final season will consist of eight episodes and will debut on April 16.
Barry is an American dark comedy crime drama television series created by Alec Berg and Bill Hader that premiered on HBO on March 25, 2018.
