Walt Disney only studied until the eighth grade because in 1918 World War I started. He did not graduate from high school as he dropped out of McKinley High School at the age of 16. However, he won honorary degrees from prestigious universities such as Yale, Harvard, and UCLA.

He started working as an ambulance driver for the Red Cross. Previously, he wanted to join the US Army. But he could not study because he was too young. He made an artificial birth certificate and became an ambulance driver. After a while, he enrolled in a night course at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts.

He started his cartoon company at the age of 19

Walt Disney started his cartoon company when he was only 19 years old. But none of his cartoons were sold. The accumulated capital has also run out, and there is no money left for food. He had to ask his friends for help. He stayed with them for many days. His financial crisis continued until the age of 22. He was disappointed because nothing happened to him. He was even kicked out of the newspaper organization, considering him lazy and unnecessary.

A studio built at the age of 25

At the age of 25, Walt Disney tried to rebuild the company. This time he turned the garage into a studio. This time he was successful with the animation “Alice in Wonderland” and “Robot of the World of Axis”. But three years later, in 1928, his colleagues in the film “The Rabbit” left him.

Steambolt was successful

1928 was a bad year for Walt Disney because his colleagues left. Walt Disney, on the other hand, had no idea that his life would change. Walt Disney’s animation Steambolt Willie brought him great success. After that, Mickey Mouse almost became famous. He created many cartoon characters such as Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Mini Mouse.
