Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter Princess Lilibeth Diana’s new title will bring many changes to her life, an expert has said.
talk to Expressroyal expert Christine Ross discussed the one-year-old’s future as it emerged she and her brother Prince Archie Harrison will officially use their royal titles.
“Lilibeth’s whole life is shaped by her status as a princess,” the expert said. “Obviously, it’s raised it far above the ‘normal’ childhood that Meghan and Harry wanted for their children.”
“Accepting the fame Lilibeth has enjoyed since King Charles ascended the throne in September will certainly change her life as an individual,” Ross added.
The co-host of the weekly Royally Us podcast said it “may also affect her future relationship with the royal family”.
Omid Scobi, a friend of Harry and Meghan, broke the news on Twitter that the little princess was christened in an intimate ceremony in the US, unlike her brother, who was solemnized in the UK.
“I can confirm that Princess Lilibeth Diana was baptized on Friday, March 3 by the Most Reverend John Taylor, Archbishop of Los Angeles,” he wrote.
The biographer also invited King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, Princess Kate, but they did not attend the ceremony.
