Tom Cruise joined the crew of a US Navy aircraft carrier in the Adriatic Sea for a special screening of Top Gun: Maverick ahead of the highly anticipated 2023 Academy Awards.
The 60-year-old Hollywood star looked in good spirits Friday as she led a trip to the USS George W. Bush (CVN 77) with Maverick writer and producer Christopher McQuarrie and editor Eddie Hamilton, as well as Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham.
The cruise includes a special screening of the film on the ship’s hanger and a meeting with the sailors on board.
Mission Impossible The star opted for a casual look as she snapped a selfie with the crew. “I know our Sailors will never forget that night in the hangar bay, and I’m sure Mr. Cruz won’t either,” said Rear Adm. Dennis Velez, commanding officer of George W. Bush CSG CSG-10. reported the Daily Mail.
