The central competitive body invites applications for 17 positions

New Delhi:

The government has invited applications for 17 posts on deputation basis in Competition Commission of India (CCI), including Additional Director General and Deputy Director General.

CCI, which reports to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), monitors anti-competitive practices in the market and also works towards promoting fair trade practices.

According to the notification, the posts of additional director general, joint director general and deputy director general, etc.

Candidates should be employees of central or state governments, public companies or autonomous bodies or regulatory bodies or universities or judicial institutions of central/state governments.

The appointment is initially made on deputation under the terms of foreign service for a period of three years, which may be extended for a period not exceeding seven years.

“Applications in the prescribed proforma along with all the necessary documents will be sent through the appropriate channel by April 24, 2023,” said the notification dated March 10.
