The Bodak is yellow singer denied claims she wants to star in a current remake of the 1997 film with co-star Megan T. Stallion. BAPS
His answer came later BAPS Director Robert Townsend talked about the remake of the film in a recent interview Slash movie.
“I’ve had people say, ‘Hey, we want to do a remake,'” he said. “Everybody from Megan Thee Stallion to Cardi B was like, ‘Can we?’ [the film?]’”.
Twitter blogger Ken Barbee received the award WAP the rapper’s hilarious response on his tweet, the singer quoted the blogger’s post with a funny laugh.
“I don’t even know where this rumor came from…” “Maybe because she looked so cute in the Wap video?…kiss kiss.”
In the music video for the massive 2020 hit, Cardi B and Megan T sported hairstyles inspired by Stallion Townsend, who also made his directorial debut.
When the video was released, some fans suggested that the duo play the lead roles, with Neesi and Mickey originally played by Halle Berry and Natalie Dessel.
