Janet Jackson’s new documentary Lifetime is released

A year after the successful two-part Janet Jackson documentary, Lifetime has announced a sequel.

Janet Jackson: Family comes first he’ll be talking about the Watch icon as he embarks on his 2023 Together Again tour. The documentary focuses on his partnership with his brother, Randy Jackson, as he reunites the family group after 40 years.

“I’ve been overwhelmed by the love and support from the wonderful fans who watched the documentary last year. I’m excited to continue sharing my story and welcome fans back into my life and the Together Again tour. Thanks for never watching… stop supporting and hope you enjoy the next chapter hopefully,” Janet said in an official statement.

His brother Randy, who is also an executive producer:

“In the next chapter of the documentary, Janet and I are thrilled to welcome viewers on the road with us as we embark on the Together Tour, celebrating 50 years of Janet’s career with fans around the country. We look forward to our continued partnership with Lifetime and A&E and sharing our family with viewers.”

Janet isn’t Lifetime’s only major documentary project this year. The network is also producing a documentary about R&B singer Keyshia Cole.
