Shakira’s ‘Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. The 53’ instrumental beat reminded him of Depeche Mode

Shakira revealed her viral hit Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53 reminded him of Depeche Mode and was inspired by the band.

During the interview The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Argentinian producer and DJ Bizarrap explained that when he visited the studio with Shakira, he suggested two potential beats for their collaboration.

Shakira then explained how she was instantly drawn to one of the instrumentals. “It reminded me of Depeche Mode,” he said.

“If you listen [‘Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53’], which has a bit of a cool, dark tone. I love Depeche Mode. They are my favorite,” he continued.

“I usually have a physical, visceral reaction to music. If you see my two steps, everything is wrong,” he added.

“I know when a song is going to work because all of a sudden I start moving. This usually causes my hips to move.

Talking about the great success of his song, he expressed his gratitude.

“I’m waiting for someone to pinch me and wake me up from this dream. It’s unbelievable,” he said.

She continued, “People connect to music when it’s real, it’s real, and it’s coming from a real place. The song has become an anthem for a lot of women. It was a really tough year after my breakup and writing it. The song meant a lot to me. It was a way to channel my emotions.”
