Mac and cheese is a creamy and sweet dish made with macaroni and melted cheese and cooked to perfection. The best part about this dish is that it can be seasoned with different herbs and spices and you can also add vegetables or meat as per your preference. Mac and Cheese Recipe: How to Make Mac and Cheese

First, heat the olive oil and butter in a pan. Add the onion, garlic and chili flakes and cook until the onion turns golden brown. Add salt and dissolve in white wine. For the white sauce, infuse warm milk with onion, garlic, bay leaves and nutmeg.

Strain the milk before use. In another pan, melt the butter and add the flour. Cook until the flour starts to change color. Now add condensed milk, butter, cream and grated cheese. Simmer it for some time until the consistency becomes thick. Meanwhile, cook pasta in hot boiling salted water until half cooked.

Once done, cover the pasta with the onion-garlic mixture and white sauce with parmesan cheese and gruyère cheese. Transfer to a baking sheet and top with remaining cheese. Sprinkle with black pepper and a few drops of olive oil. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Mac and cheese is ready!
