Yeoh’s mother said she had no doubt her daughter would win. “She’s a very hardworking girl,” he said at a press conference on the evening of the watch.
One of Yeoh’s nephews called it his “favourite moment” to see him win. “I was speechless, I cried,” she said. “It happened quickly. We are very happy that he won, that our sister won.”
