Rajkumar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Bheed’ has been receiving negative response ever since the teaser was released.
Actor Pankaj Kapoor, who plays an important role in the film, responded to the criticism and asked people not to judge the film before watching it.
He said, “You will also see in our film that people report monsoons before even a single drop of rain falls in our community. We are so impatient and opinionated. Instead of being patient and saying, ‘Okay, let’s think about what’s going on,’ we jump the gun. You might think, but watch the movie first? One little teaser is hilarious. And you start saying that this is a political film. Analytical film about this. the mindset of our society, how we think, how we react to certain situations! Very few films portray authority figures in a positive light as this film does.”
Bid is a socio-political drama that tells the story of the dark times of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has created borders within the country. The authors compared the plot of the film with the part that took place in 1947.
Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the film stars Dia Mirza, Ashutosh Rana, Kritika Kamra and others, reports Indiatoday.
