Peshawar Zalmi and Zalmi Foundation Chairman Javed Afridi met King Charles III of England and Prince William of Wales on the occasion of Commonwealth Day at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.

Afridi, along with other guests, was hosted by the royal family after a special invitation to attend the prestigious gathering at their London residence.

“I had the most wonderful experience today when I met King Charles and Prince William! It was an honor to be in the presence of such wonderful personalities,” the owner of Peshawar Zalmi wrote in a Facebook post.

The businessman said that King Charles and Prince Williams had enormous services for the Commonwealth.

“Their kindness and warmth is truly inspiring and I am grateful for the opportunity to meet them. It is amazing to see how much they care about their people and the future of the Commonwealth,” he said.

He thanked the Royal Family for welcoming and meeting him and said it was an honor for Pakistan to associate the Zalmi Foundation with the Commonwealth.

Afridi wrote that he felt proud to be a part of “this Commonwealth tour”.

“King Charles and Prince William, thank you for your loyalty and service to our commonwealth,” the business magnate wrote.
