Later, he also talked about what was happening in his personal life. Zoho CEO Sridhar Vembu said after his soon-to-be ex-wife had left him and their 24-year-old son with special needs in 2020: “Autism has ruined our lives and made me suicidal.”
Unlike my professional life, “my personal life has been a protracted tragedy,” Vembu said. She also said she used some of her son’s autism therapy. Unbeknownst to Sridhar Vembu, his wife accused him of secretly selling some of his company shares and giving it to his sister and her husband.
Zoho Sridhar, CEO of the $5 billion software development business, and his wife Pramila Srinivasan are divorcing. The couple lived in California, USA for about 25 years when Sridhar decided to return to Tamil Nadu in early 2020.
In August 2021, Sridhar filed for divorce in California. According to Forbes, according to Pramila’s court documents, Vembu transferred Joho’s intellectual property to India in a complicated deal.
She said in a court document filed in January that “she decided to make fraudulent transfers or sales of our most valuable community property to family members without any cash or other payment and without ever telling me or obtaining my approval.
