Adani Transmission is certified to implement single-use plastic-free measures at 37 locations.

Adani Transmission Ltd has been recognized by the Confederation of Indian Industry-ITC Center of Excellence for Sustainability as a ‘single-use plastic free’ company.
The company has been certified for successfully implementing single-use plastic-free measures at 37 workplaces located in 10 states across the country.
This certificate is valid from February 22, 2023 to February 21, 2024, the company said in a statement.
“Adani Transmission Ltd (ATL) has been recognized as ‘Single-Use Plastic Free,'” it said. A total of 37 ATL sites, i.e. 30 substations and 7 transmission line clusters, including shops, have been certified as ‘Single-Use Plastic Free’, he added.
With this certification, ATL has become the first Indian power utility to achieve Zero Waste to Landfill certification, Water Positive certification and Single Use Plastic Free Company, the release said.
