Marvel is pressuring Reddit to reveal the source behind it Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania script leak.
A 63-page transcript of Ant-Man dialogue was posted on Reddit in January, and Marvel is trying to uncover the identity of the person or people responsible.
A transcript of 63 pages of dialogue from the third installment of Marvel’s smallest character has been leaked, edited or displayed on a Portuguese language web interface.
Additionally, the decrypted text may be “for use in subtitles,” according to TorrentFreak, a piracy news website.
In the introduction to the published dialogue, an unidentified person attributed the text to screenwriter Jeff Loveness and described it as “translated dialogue”.
The comic studio filed a subpoena in California federal district court to compel Reddit to reveal the user who posted the film’s dialogue to the r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers subreddit on January 20, 2023.
Marvel asked for “all identifying information for the user ‘u/MSSmods'” in addition to “any other user(s) responsible for posting, editing and/or maintaining the content” available anywhere on the subreddit. 15 and 15 February.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania opened to mixed reviews and was released in theaters on February 17.
