You may have noticed that the Washington Capitals-New York Rangers game was a little different. Did this Cricket Green play for Rangers?
Tuesday’s game was the first of its kind: a live hockey game turned into a real-time animated series and virtually recreating the action on the ice at Madison Square Garden. It features characters from Disney’s animated series Big City Green, which debuted in 2018.
Mika Zibanejad opened the scoring and New York never looked back as the Rangers went on to win the game 5-3.
