The result of Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) 2023 will be released by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur today, March 16, after 4 PM. Candidates who appeared for Aptitude Test can download their result from official site gate.iitk.ac.in when released.
The score card will be available for candidates to download on the main site from March 21 onwards. The exam was held on February 5, 6, 12 and 13. GATE 2023 answer sheet was released on 15th February and answer key was released on 21st February. Candidates are allowed to challenge the answer of GATE 2023. the key is from February 22-25.
GATE 2023 Result: Download Steps
Step 1: Go to the official website gate.iitk.ac.in
Step 2: On the main site, go to “Candidate Login”.
Step 3: When a new page opens, enter your registration ID / email address and password. Then click submit.
Step 4: GATE 2023 Result will appear on the screen. Check it out and download it.
GATE Result 2023: What Happens Next
After declaration of result, IIT Kanpur will release cut off marks for all 29 GATE papers. It is based on the total marks scored by the candidates, the number of candidates appearing for the exam and availability of seats. It should be noted that there will be two cut off lists for GATE 2023 this year. The first list will be the regular qualifying cut off followed by the cut off list for admission.
The computer-based test is designed for students who wish to take admission in several undergraduate subjects such as architecture, engineering, commerce, arts, science and technology. There are several public universities across the country that use GATE scores in their admission process. Additionally, many reputed institutes use GATE scores to provide financial assistance for Masters and PhD courses.
