New Delhi: IT major TCS CEO Rajesh Gopinathan has taken the reigns and the company has named K Krithivasan, global head of its BFSI unit, as the CEO designation, the firm said on Thursday. Gopinathan will continue with the company until September 15, 2023, transitioning and supporting his successor.
“After a distinguished career of over 22 years with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and a successful stint as Managing Director and CEO for the last 6 years, Rajesh Gopinathan has decided to leave the company to pursue his other interests,” the company said. stated in the statement. TCS has appointed K Krithivasan, its current president and global head of its banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) business group, as CEO.
“The board has recommended Krithivasan as CEO with effect from March 16, 2023. Krithivasan will replace Rajesh Gopinathan and will be appointed as managing director and CEO for the next financial year,” the statement said.

I will work closely with Kriti to provide her with all the support she needs.”
