NEET PG 2023 Result Released on March 14 (Representative Image)
There will be four rounds for NEET PG Counseling 2023 which includes Round 1, Round 2, Clearing Round and Vacancies Round for AIQ. All four rounds will be conducted by the commission.
The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) is expected to conduct the National Eligibility Test for Entrance Examination (NEET PG) 2023 from July 15, 2023. Candidates must submit online applications for NEET PG Board at the official website www.mcc.nic. .in. Registrations made by candidates in any other mode will not be accepted by the commission.
It may be noted that the NEET PG 2023 committee will soon issue a separate handbook or bulletin for the details of the counseling process and seat reservation. There will be four rounds for NEET PG Board which includes Round 1. 2 in AIQ, in the cleanup round and in the stray blanks. All four rounds will be conducted by the commission.
On March 14, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) declared the NEET PG 2023 results. Those who appeared for the entrance exam can check their results at natboard.edu.in. The same scorecard can be downloaded from the main site from March 25. NEET PG Result includes roll number and marks (out of total 800) of all the students who appeared in the exam.
In addition, the Federation of Resident Doctors’ Associations (FORDA) has written to the Minister of Health demanding an early consultation process. “It is unreasonable to wait until August,” the association said.
NEET PG 2023 Counseling Process
The NEET PG cutoff for admission to MD, MS, DNB and diploma courses is 291 for general and EWS categories, 274 for general PWBD categories and 257 for SC, ST and OBC candidates. NEET PG 2023 cutoff for general category candidates is 50th percentile and for reserved category cutoff is 40th percentile. Last year’s threshold for the general category was 275 points. For SC, ST and OBC it was 245 and 260 for general PH category candidates.
NEET PG 2023 merit list is prepared based on the rank obtained by the candidates. The examination is conducted by the National Examinations Council and the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) is responsible for the seat allotment and counseling process.
