A man identified as Shehari Choudary was arrested by authorities at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport for smoking in the lavatory on an Indigo flight, IANS reported. According to the report, the incident took place on Saturday, March 18, 2023, when the accused was traveling in Assam-Bengaluru IndiGo flight 6E 716. The accused passenger smoked in the toilet while the flight was in the air, endangering his health. safety of other passengers.

The crew of the IndiGo flight noticed the smell in the toilet and informed the authorities. On landing at the Bengaluru International Airport, the airport police arrested a man named Shehari Choudhary. He was arrested as soon as he landed at the Bengaluru airport.

According to IANS, the incident took place at 1.30 am on Saturday and the airport police have started an investigation into the matter. This is one of the many incidents of passengers smoking during the flight.

A 24-year-old woman was caught smoking in the lavatory of an Indigo flight from Kolkata in the first week of March. He was arrested on arrival in Bengaluru and later released on bail.

There have also been many incidents of smoking on international flights, most of which were witnessed on Air India.
