Three new entrance exams – Amrita Entrance Exam – Physical Sciences (AEEP), Life Sciences, Agricultural and Medical Sciences (AEEL) and Behavioral Sciences (AEEB)
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (AVV) has introduced three new entrance exams for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses. Three new entrance exams – Amrita Entrance Examination – Physical Sciences (AEEP), Amrita Entrance Examination – Life Sciences, Agriculture and Medical Sciences (AEEL) and Amrita Entrance Examination – Behavioral Sciences (Arts, Humanities and Commerce) (AEEB ). A private university located in Coimbatore conducts these three different entrance exams as part of the selection process.
The dates of registration for the entrance exam will be announced on the official website of the university, after which candidates can apply. The exam will be held in several cities of the country.
Amrita Entrance Exam Details
AEEEEEE: Amrita Entrance Exam – Physical Sciences is for candidates who have completed Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects after 12th standard. Students interested in appearing for the courses offered in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, BCA and others must appear for the AEEP examination. The test lasts 2 hours and consists of 80 questions.
AEL: Amrita Entrance Examination is for candidates who have passed Plus 2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as major subjects in Life Sciences, Agriculture and Medical Sciences. This entrance exam also lasts for two hours and consists of 80 questions in total. Students with +2 or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics can apply for BPharm or Pharm D courses without appearing for entrance exam.
AEB: Amrita Entrance Exam – Behavioral Sciences (Arts, Humanities and Commerce) is for those who have passed 12th with Humanities or Commerce as main subject. Students who wish to join any course in Arts, Humanities or Commerce are advised to appear for AEEB examination.

Our university has always been at the forefront of providing quality education to students in various disciplines,” said Maheshwara Chaitanya, director of admissions and academic outreach, according to a Career360 report. Entrance exams allow students to better gauge their aspirations and build their careers, Chaitanya added.
