Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav visited the New Delhi-Ajmer Shatabdi Express today. During the visit, the minister visited the train and also exchanged opinions with the passengers on the train. A video of the railway minister, who was on the train, giving a first-hand assessment, was circulated on social networks. In the video, he can be seen interacting with travelers during the trip.

He also said that he informed the passengers about the timely departure of the train.

In a statement, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav announced that Indian Railways will take new initiatives on the route. He informed that the speed of train on New Delhi-Ajmer route will be increased by making track changes. He also confirmed that Vande Bharat trains will run on the New Delhi-Jaipur route. The operation of the semi-high speed train will begin after the tests and trials on the route are completed.

Shatabdi Express trains are one of the special trains run by Indian Railways like Rajdhani, Duronto and others.
